A few quick questions about viewminder ultimate

Postby unitedtherapy » Thu May 16, 2019 8:52 pm

Hi Dan,
Question #1- In Viewminder Ultimate is it possible to block off an entire day so that nothing can be added for that entire day?
Question #2 -On Stephanie's computer the am and pm for the time like say for example let's say Stephanie added an event like Jessica's homework time to Vueminder Ultimate's calendar for 4pm to 5pm, on Stephanie's computer the time shows up like 04:00-05:00 without the am and pm after the time. How do we fix this?
Question # 3 - Would Stephanie no longer having a cmos battery on her computer's motherboard cause the time to not show up correctly in Vueminder Ultimate considering that the cmos battery in the computer is what controls the computer's time? How do we fix this?
(If you need any screenshots in reference to any of our above questions please let us know).

You could define an event for the day (with start and end times), so if you try to create another event on that date, you'll see an orange warning at the top of the Event Editor showing that there's a conflict. There's nothing to completely prevent conflicting events from being created though.

VueMinder uses the date/time format specified in the Windows Control Panel. Open the Control Panel and click "Change date, time, or number formats" to change the time format. After doing this, exit and restart VueMinder. You should see VueMinder updates to use the specified format.

Question # 3 - Would Stephanie no longer having a cmos battery on her computer's motherboard cause the time to not show up correctly in Vueminder Ultimate considering that the cmos battery in the computer is what controls the computer's time? How do we fix this?

If the motherboard doesn't have a CMOS battery, the system date/time will be reset each time you power off the computer. To fix the problem, install a fresh CMOS battery.
