Sync with Google Calendar

I have 2 way synch setup
Vueminder > Google seems to work
But
Google > Vueminder not happening
Any suggestions t troubleshoot?

Hi slouw, please check to make sure your local Windows clock is set correctly. For best results, sync your local clock with an internet time server. Also, make sure your time zone and daylight savings settings are correct. It’s possible VueMinder isn’t picking up changes made on Google Calendar because your local clock is ahead of the actual time reported by Google. VueMinder checks when events are changed to determine if they need to sync. I can’t think of any other explanation for what would be causing the behavior you’re seeing.

Also, please be aware that after making a change on Google Calendar, syncing won’t happen instantly. It can take up to 30 seconds after making the change before it will automatically sync to VueMinder.

Time and timezone are correct.
Short delay for updates noted
I will check alter on an alternative laptop.

I changed the sync setting to 1way Google > VMinder
Then I got this message:
Any ideas...?

Setting up 2 way again I don't get the error any more.
But I create an event in Vueminder and I am not seeig in in Google calendar
So I am not sure anything is working at this point.
Is there a place in VM I can see the name of the google calendar I am synching with?
Can I re - enter the credentials?

Hi slouw, VueMinder most likely added a new calendar to your Google account when you re-enabled syncing. You might need to refresh the calendar list on the Google Calendar webpage and check the box next to the calendar that VueMinder added, since the calendar might be filtered. The calendar name should match what you see in VueMinder. You might have multiple calendars of the same name when you look at the Google Calendar webpage.

If you still can't get it to work, please try the steps in the FAQ under "My calendars aren't syncing with Google Calendar".
