VueMinder provides mini calendars in a variety of places, such as the Mini Desktop Calendar, Month Navigation Pane, and Year View. These miniature monthly calendars will color-code each date based on the first visible event, task, or note that occurs on that date. You can hover over a date to see a tooltip listing all the activities planned for that date.
Version 2020.01 improves the date tooltip to include links for creating new events, tasks, and notes on the hovered date. Version 2020.01 also improves double-clicking a date on the Month Navigation Pane to create a new event, task, or note (depending on the default calendar type).
In previous versions, you'd need to go elsewhere in order to create new items. That could become tedious, especially if you've navigated to a specific date in the mini calendar and wanted to quickly create a new item on that date.
