July 2019 VueSoft Version 2019 (0) Version 2019.02 improves importing and exporting events, tasks, notes, and contacts from/to Excel (.xlsx) files. A locally installed version of Excel 2003 or later no longer needs to be installed. In other words, if you use OpenOffice, LibreOffice, or the web-based version of Excel, VueMinder 2019.02 can now import or export your .xlsx files.VueMinder accomplishes this by using OpenXML instead of the Excel API. Functionally, importing and exporting will work the same as in the previous version, except it will be much faster.
