Version 7.4 of VueMinder Calendar (both Lite and Pro) adds the ability to quickly print items via the Details pane, right-click menu, or editor window. The Details pane has also been expanded with buttons for emailing or copying the text of the selected item. With a single click of the mouse, you can print or email all the details of an event.

Version 7.4 of VueMinder Calendar Pro adds optional word-wrapping and variable detail levels to the Month view, Desktop Calendar, and Monthly print style. Instead of longer event titles being clipped and not fitting in the event box, the text will wrap to show the full title, as well as other optional information such as ending time and location. If you've ever wished you could wrap the text when viewing or printing from Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, wish no more. Simply sync those calendars with VueMinder Calendar Pro and enjoy the results!

Version 7.4 of VueMinder Calendar Pro adds the ability to define "floating" tasks. These are tasks that will automatically advance to the current date until completed, helping you to stay on top of things that need to get done.

VueMinder Calendar continues to be improved. Version 7.3 adds an appearance theme editor, default task settings and appearances, importing and exporting of notes and tasks, improved meeting requests, multiple email or SMS reminders per event or task, a mini desktop calendar, a Week view on the full desktop calendar, inline event creation directly on the calendar, and much more!

Version 7.3 adds a graphical editor for creating custom appearance theme files. This tool allows you to simply hover the mouse over any visual component (i.e., button, tab, etc) of VueMinder Calendar. Press a number key to edit the display properties of the hovered component type, such as its color. You can even assign bitmaps to skin the various components of the window. We know there are some very creative people out there, so if you come up with a cool appearance theme and would like to share it, please let us know!

Version 7.3 adds the ability to customize how overdue, upcoming, and completed tasks appear. It also adds default task settings, so reminders and other task data can be specified as a template to be used when creating new tasks.

Version 7.3 of VueMinder Calendar Pro adds import and export capabilities for notes and tasks. These can be imported from CSV files, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, or iCalendar (ICS) files. Notes and tasks can also be exported to the same formats. This improvement makes transferring task and note data between VueMinder Calendar and other programs much easier.

Version 7.3 has improved meeting requests to better integrate with other programs, such as Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar. A new meeting request can be defined in VueMinder Calendar Pro. When sent, the request will provide response options for the recipient, such as "accept", "decline", and "tentative". Meeting request attachments generated by other calendar programs can also be loaded in VueMinder and a response sent , simply by opening the attachment in whatever email program is being used.

As of version 7.3, VueMinder Calendar Pro can now have any number of email and/or SMS reminders scheduled for each event or task. These reminders can be scheduled up to 6 months in advance, and any time in between. This feature will make email and SMS reminders much more useful, since there's no longer a limit of just one reminder.

For those that prefer a simpler, smaller calendar on the desktop, a new "mini" desktop calendar mode has been added in version 7.3. This calendar will show a single month, with color-coding of dates. Hovering the mouse over a date will list a summary of that date's activities. This new mini desktop calendar preserves much of the functionality of the full desktop calendar, but in a much smaller form. Your inner minimalist will rejoice!

Version 7.3 adds a Weekly view to the Desktop Calendar, as well as a settings menu for the Desktop Calendar's Week and Month views. Now you can see your whole week, divided into days and timeslots, with just a quick glance at your Window's desktop. The Week view on the Desktop Calendar is also fully interactive, allowing new events to be created or existing events to be rescheduled simply by dragging.

Version 7.3 has been improved to allow the creation of events simply by clicking a day or timeslot and typing an event name. Pro version users can have pre-configured default settings, such as reminders, automatically applied to the new event. In many cases, the Event Editor window will never need to be opened when defining a new event. This improvement can save you time and help you become even more efficient!

Version 7.2.0 contains significant improvements to the backup and restoring of data. It also has several other new and improved features, such as date navigation via the keyboard, day-of-year information in tooltips, default font settings, and more. We've also been very busy with bug corrections, especially related to calendar sharing, reminder processing, and reliablity of the software in general. VueMinder Calendar Pro continues to be improved. Version 7.0 has been released, and contains many new features to help you better organize and manage your time. Here's a quick overview of what's new in Version 7.0...

Version 7.0 improves the look and feel of the main window. It also adds more layout options, such as the ability to display multiple view types simultaneously and to have a full sized list view.

Version 7.0 improves local calendar sharing over a local network. Calendar sharing can now be done through a database, allowing calendar owners to control whom can view or modify their shared calendars. All the complexity of calendar sharing is handled behind the scenes, allowing configuration of calendar sharing to be done quickly and easily, even for inexperienced users.

Version 7.0 adds the ability to write notes and optionally pin these to dates. Notes can also be listed in the List view and printed.

Version 7.0 significantly improves contact data. Instead of being limited to the only the fields required for sending email and SMS reminders, the latest version adds a full-featured Contact Editor, as well as distribution lists, contact grouping, and contact data import/export. A new contact list has also been added, allowing contacts to be sorted, filtered, and searched.

Version 7.0 adds the ability to define distribution lists and contact groups. These can be used for email and SMS reminders. They can also be used when sending a meeting request.

Meeting requests have been improved in version 7.0. Previously, it was not possible to see who was invited to a meeting after the request was sent, or to easily add more attendees. In this version, a new "Attendees" tab has been added to the Event Editor window for meeting requests. Also, instead of relying on the default mail client to send the notice, it will now be sent directly from VueMinder Calendar.

Version 7.0 adds a "Year" view type, showing the events for an entire year. This view is fully functional, allowing events on selected dates to be added, deleted, sent via email, categorized, and more. Also, when the mouse is hovered over a date, a summary of events occurring on that date will be displayed.

Version 7.0 adds a Timeline View. This provides another way of visualizing your schedule, horizontally rather than vertically. The displayed time interval can be adjusted anywhere from 15 minutes to 4 weeks, allowing you to drill down into the events of a particular date, or see a big picture of activities spanning several months.

The List View has been improved in version 7.0 to list notes, contacts, and distribution groups in addition to events and tasks. New options for grouping rows have been added, allowing you to do things like group all events based on category. The list can also now be made to fill the main window area, just like the other view types.
