Added option for month view

Have a great idea on how VueMinder could be improved? Post it here!

Added option for month view

Postby vnams » Wed Apr 30, 2014 1:56 pm

In the month view it would be handy to have an option where I see not only the list of items, but them placed into the appropriate time slots - so that I could at a quick glance see my empty vs full time slots. With larger monitors being more common, this would be useful to more people.
Thanks, Vilis

Hi Vilis, welcome to the forums and thank you for the suggestion. If you have the screen space and are using the Pro or Ultimate version, you can “split” the views and have multiple views displayed simultaneously. For example, you could have the Day view displayed alongside the Month view. When you click a date in the Month view the Day view will automatically update to show the details of the selected date, making it easier to see where you have open time slots.

See the "Selecting and Arranging Views" section of the documentation linked below for more details:

If you're using the Pro or Ultimate version, you can also change the detail level of the Month View so both start and end times are shown, which makes it easier to find any openings. This option can be enabled by clicking the settings button in the upper-right corner of the Month View, and then selecting "Show High Detail".

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Yes, these are all possible - but they require clicking for each day. It would be nice to view my whole month at once with the items arranged according to their times.
