Incorrect starting time

When I enter a new event, the starting time in the monthly box always appears as 8: AM so I'm forced to revert to the event again and change it to the correct starting time. Is this done by default?

Hi socaler, if you're creating events on the Month view, there's a default setting for the start time. The default start time can be specified on the "Event Defaults" tab of the Calendar Properties. You can open the Calendar Properties by double-clicking the calendar's name. Each calendar can have its own default settings. If you're creating events from the Day or Week views, the default event starting time will match whichever time slot has been selected.
