Transfer to New Computer

Hi, Dan,

Happy New Year!

I have a new PC, and I need to transfer Vueminder Pro.
From other Forum entries, I gather that you have to send me an email with instructions.
I still have the license key, but the original full installation software is from 2012, and Windows won't even allow me to install it.
I installed the trial version on my new computer.

Hi Dan,

My 4-year-old copy of VueMinder Pro (v 11.2.3) appeared to install correctly on my new Windows 10 computer (build 15063.540). It accepted my backup data file, and when I opened the program, it displayed all my data properly. But as soon as I touched the interface with the mouse, the screen froze. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice; same result.

Hi windmap, welcome to the forums. I believe the problem you're seeing is due to a compatibility problem with the old version of VueMinder, which was created before Windows 10 was released. If you update to the latest version, it should work without any issues.

OK, I've successfully upgraded my original VueMinder Pro version that's on my old computer to the current version (2017.04). Now, how do I transfer the upgraded program to my new Windows 10 computer?
