Multiple instances of an event appearing simultaneously

Greetings,

For quite some time I've been having this problem whereas multiple instances of the same event will show on the same day. This problem not only makes it hard to see other 'same-day' appointments, but also makes it difficult to add other alarms/events as well.

Please help me solve this issue. Thank you very much for your help...have a great day.

FYI, my OS is Windows 10 (64-bit).

PS. I've tried to see if I could delete only one or two instances, but that didn't work: The whole entire event gets deleted instead.

Hi Tone, welcome to the forums. Do you sync your calendar with anything external? There might be a bug related to syncing, although this isn't something I've seen in my testing so that's just a guess. Please let me know how (or if) your calendar is synced, so I can narrow my search for where the problem might be located.

Hi Dan and thanks for the welcome. From what I see, I guess do appear to sync my calendar another name that I had created awhile back? I also sync with a religious holiday calendar.

Hi Tone, thank you for the information. The "Tone's Calendar" doesn't appear to be synced, so it's probably not a syncing issue if that's the calendar where the duplicates are appearing.

There might be something corrupted in the calendar. Please try these steps:
1. Export "Tone's Calendar" to an ICS file using the "File -> Export -> Export Events" menu command.
2, Delete "Tone's Calendar" by right-clicking and selecting "Delete Calendar".
3. Exit VueMinder by clicking "File -> Exit".
4. Restart VueMinder.
5. Import your calendar using the "File -> Import -> Import Events" menu command.

Does that fix the duplicates?
